The Happy Challenge (Part 1)

Hi there!

Here I am again, first I have to warn you. It may seem that I am very, very active in posting new blogs but that is only temporary. I really hate the feeling of an almost empty homepage and this is me, trying to fill it.

So, why am I blogging now? A few Dutch bloggers wanted to bring more positivity into this world. And they came up with the Happy Challenge.
Their introduction posts can be found here (sorry, they are in Dutch, so you might not be able to read it all):

It is kind of a mix between finding your own happiness and discover your dreams (and work on them!). And as I am a quite pessimistic person, I decided to join them. Every Friday, starting on the 17th of January, they post a challenge for 10 consecutive weeks. (Yes, first challenge is already out in the open but I will come to that in another blogpost, I promise!)

Personally, I think that it might be good to become more aware of what you really want. And what is important for yourself in life. In the end, I want to get a more positive view on life. I want to chase my dreams, I want to pursue things/experiences I can enjoy. Because for now I am a 9-5 lab-rat on weekdays, and a work-rat on weekends. I simply have almost no time to do things I like because at the end of the day I am so worn out that I watch an episode of Bones or read a bit and then go KO in my bed. (And then the alarm clock starts ringing and here we go again!)

If you need any translations, explanations, or anything I can help you with/ I can answer..
Let me know! 🙂
